How does it work?

1

OHIP Covered Consultation

Virtual or in-person OHIP covered consultation to determine if IV iron therapy is appropriate for you. Comprehensive evaluation, lab review, and personalized treatment plan.

2

Prescribe IV Iron

If IV iron is indicated, your specialist will prescribe the iron and coordinate your infusion plan. We determine proper dosing, number of sessions, and ensure medical safety prior to treatment.

3

Receive Your Infusion <20 minutes

Relax in our modern infusion suite while your IV iron is administered. A physician is on-site, and trained medical staff monitor you throughout the infusion for safety and comfort.

4

Long-term Follow-up

We repeat labs and reassess symptoms to confirm that your iron levels have improved and that you’re responding appropriately. Ongoing follow-up ensures optimal recovery and long-term management.

we’re here to Answer all your questions

Some people notice improvements in energy within a few days, while for others it may take a couple of weeks as your body builds new red blood cells.

In most cases, infusions can be scheduled within 1–2 weeks. We will do our best to accommodate urgent requests sooner if possible.

Most extended health insurance plans cover IV iron products under prescription drug benefits. The infusion fee may also be eligible for reimbursement through a Health Spending Account or “Out-of-Hospital Nursing Coverage”, depending on your plan. You will receive a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

Come well-hydrated and have a light meal before your appointment to help prevent lightheadedness. Wear loose, comfortable clothing with sleeves that roll up easily, and feel free to bring water, a small snack, and something to read or watch during your visit. You’re also welcome to bring a support person if you’d like assistance or company.
