Dr. Paria Kashani MD FRCPC
Dr. Paria Kashani is an allergist and clinical immunologist with extensive experience in caring for both children and adults. She completed her specialty training in Paediatrics at McMaster University, followed by advanced subspecialty training in Allergy & Clinical Immunology at the University of Toronto / The Hospital for Sick Children, one of the top pediatric centres in the world. She is dual Royal College certified in Paediatrics and in Allergy & Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Kashani provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for the full spectrum of allergic and immunologic conditions—from food and environmental allergies to asthma, eczema, urticaria, drug and penicillin allergy, and primary immunodeficiency. She has significant expertise in advanced therapies, including biologics, desensitization, and modern immunomodulatory treatments.
Dr. Kashani has received multiple national and international awards for her research, presentations, and publications in allergy and primary immunodeficiency. Her work continues to contribute to advancements in the field.
Dr. Armin Abadeh MD FRCPC
Dr. Armin Abadeh is a double board-certified specialist in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Immunology & Allergy. He earned his MD at the University of Toronto, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine and achieved Royal College certification. He subsequently completed subspecialty fellowship training in Clinical Immunology & Allergy at the University of Toronto. His training was completed across several of Canada’s leading academic centres, including The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), St. Michael’s Hospital, and Toronto General Hospital.
With dual training in internal medicine and allergy & immunology, Dr. Abadeh offers a uniquely comprehensive, systems-based approach to diagnosing and treating allergic and immunologic conditions. His clinical expertise includes asthma, sinus disease, and both primary and secondary immunodeficiencies.
Dr. Abadeh has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, delivered award-winning presentations, and has presented at multiple national and international conferences in allergy, immunology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Lorena Barra MD FRCPC
Dr. Lorena Barra completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Toronto, with clinical training at SickKids Hospital, internationally recognized as one of the world’s leading pediatric centres. She has served as a Pediatric Emergency Physician at SickKids and has worked as both a Pediatric Consultant and Primary Care Pediatrician in the community, caring for children from the newborn period through adolescence.
Dr. Barra has a strong interest in pediatric emergency research and has contributed to multiple academic publications over the past eight years. Her clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine and a deep commitment to family-centred, compassionate care.
She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, allowing her to support families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
